'Sunset Recipe' is a short stop motion animated film set in Hong Kong about two characters who do not speak the same language. While trying to navigate their each other with the language barrier, they each discover their mutual passion for food. This story contains themes of passion, comfort and bonding.

This student film was inspired by my passion for food, art and my cultural backgrounds as a mixed-race person. I wanted to create a film that demonstrates how people's passions transcend language barriers in a warm, heartfelt way.
